Free motion quilting, mesh and strawberries!

 Recently I decided to  tackle free motion quilting so  I joined a class at Crafty Ideas. The project was creating  a bag with mesh which  involved some free motion quilting. 
  
There were some mini  stressful  moments when I accidentally cut the mesh and some fixing was necessary.  The class  was a lot of fun and I must say it really helped me  be more confident with free motion. My teacher Androulla,  forgave all my errors and encouraged me to continue  and ignore all the small mishaps.  We all ate some  fresh strawberries and.... all is well that ends well.
 

I am pleased with the final result even though if you look up close........ !!!!!   

 
Its been a while since I have gone to class and I would like to say that I LOVE GOING TO QUILTING CLASS. I enjoy the whole atmosphere of women gathering , creating and ....eating strawberries .  - Nonie
