Time for crazy patchwork bags !!!!

I put aside the minis for a few days and have been making some bags for the beach.

I made the first  bag (with yellow square) in February  to fit large Xrays. I was in a bit of a rush so I made a very simple design using left over blocks and scraps . After the initial purpose was served my daughter started using the bag for her ballet lessons and after school activities.  It was such success that my children fought as to who was going to get use it. 
 
Since  then I have been receiving lots of requests  from family and  friends for these bags.  In the last month the requests were for  beach bags. SO.....I added a zippered pocket for keys ,phone ,etc... and made them so that they can fit about 2- 3  rolled towels.
  
I just love carrying these bags .   They are  light , the handles are and soft and make my  shoulders (and my chiropractor) very happy. -  Nonie
